John W. Walker was born 14 Mar. 1823. His father was John Walker. His mother was Sarah Tindell Walker. Her father name was Bord Tindell John and Sarah were married in Columbia Co. GA, 1819.

John Wesley Walker was educated in medicine mid became a doctor.. On Dec. 1 1846, he married Lucinda Council Culpepper in Houston Co., GA.  She was born April 1 1832. They remained in GA until 1858. They had 5 children born in GA. They moved to LA and had 3 children born there. They then moved to I Lamar Co., TX and had 1 child born there. Then they moved to Scott Co., AR. and had 2 children born in AR.

Between 1880 and 1887 they moved to Brooken, Indian Territory.  John Wesley died Nov. 18, 1887 and is buried in Short Mountain Cem.,  in Leflore Co., OK.  Lucinda died July 22,  1896 and is buried in Brooken Cem.  in Cowlington, OK.

My grandfather was Joseph P. Walter, born in Lamar Co. TX, Mar 3, 1870, He married Nancy I. Henderson in 1899, in Indian territory and they had 13 children: Etta ,Edward, Vonnie, Sudie, Clemmie, Evert, Ora, Stella, Tollie, Clyde, Neoma, Leona, and Uhlan.

J.P. and Nancy moved to Ponotoc Co.,  Oklahoma Territory in 1900.  He opened a drug store and was one of the first to receive an Indian "Territory' Pharmacy license in 1907. J. P. Walker had a long and productive life in Ponotoc County. He died April 1, 1955.  Nancy I. died Nov 11, 1955. Both are buried in  Old Midland Cemetery in Ponotoc County.

My Father was Clyde Walker, born Sept 9, 1909;  my mother, Pearl Wilson Walker.  They were married in 1928 in Garvin Co., OK. They had 4 children Clyde Walker Jr., Peggy. Edward and Judy. Clyde Sr. died m May 1983. Pearl is still living.

I am Clyde Walker Jr. born Sept. 19, 1930.  Married Mary K, Richardson, born July 6, 1937,  married, April 19 1954. Children of Clyde and Mary: Janet, Janie and Jackie.  Janet Walker manned Charles Moon. Janie Walker married Jerod Peek; children are Adam, Patrick and Cassidy.  Jackie Walker married Don Latham.
